KUALA LUMPUR, June 15 -- PRA Health Sciences Inc recently announced the enhancement of its commercial Health Harmony COVID-19 Monitoring Program with integration of the Microsoft Healthcare Bot service.
Users of PRA’s Health Harmony digital platform who enroll in their organisation’s COVID-19 monitoring programme can use the AI-based chatbot, which can recognise and respond to COVID-19-related questions, to enhance their own care.
Through a series of conversational questions and interactions within the platform, the COVID-19 chatbot compares users’ symptoms to the United States Centers for Disease Control guidance and then recommends one of three available COVID-19 programmes, in which they should enroll.
According to a statement, for the Health Harmony app users, the enrollment experience becomes more personalised and is more accurate in determining the level of COVID-19 care needed.
For organisations that have implemented PRA’s COVID-19 monitoring programme, the integration allows them to understand patient flow and to monitor, educate and individualise care with greater agility.
The COVID-19 monitoring programme is available commercially to employers, payers, providers and health systems, offering three levels of support namely, educational, quarantine and in-depth monitoring programmes.
