KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 -- Bureau Veritas has signed a global framework agreement with Shell to help contribute to the company’s ambition to reduce emissions from operations.
According to a statement, Shell, a leading global energy and petrochemicals group, has set a target to maintain methane emission intensity below 0.2 per cent by 2025.
With worldwide reach, the new enterprise framework agreement with Bureau Veritas enables Shell to benefit from expert solutions in detection of leaks across all assets.
Bureau Veritas’ Leak Detection and Repair solutions enable Shell to monitor, quantify and control emissions to minimise its carbon footprint.
These solutions integrate advanced technologies such as Optical Gas Imaging, laser and ultrasonic technologies, as well as the use of drones to optimise inspections.
