Mining machine cuts power consumption by almost 50 per cent

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) – TRIPLE-1, Inc. has developed a mining machine called KAMIKAZE with the world’s most advanced 7nm ASIC chip which can cut power consumption by almost 50 per cent.

“About one-and-a-half years since development started, we can announce the result of the performance evaluation test,” the company said in a statement today.

With production of the mining machine starting, shipping will begin end of November 2018, the statement added.

The KAMIKAZE will be adjusted according to area, environmental characteristics and business model, while keeping in mind performance and manufacturing cost.

The KAMIKAZE has the same hash rate as mining machines with the 16nm ASIC chip.

The development of the large hash power model came about because of the huge arithmetic capacity required for bitcoin mining.
