Toshiba begins sampling embedded flash memory products March-end

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Toshiba Memory Corporation, the world leader in memory solutions will begin sampling of new JEDEC e-MMC Ver. 5.1 compliant embedded flash memory products for consumer applications by March-end.

The products will utilise BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory.

The company will continue to reinforce its market-leading position by adding BiCS FLASH 3D memory embedded products to its line-up of flash memory products.

According to a statement, e-MMC products are embedded flash memory products integrating flash memory chips and a controller in a single package.
