Security programme for Singapore´s InfoSec communities at Black Hat Asia 2019

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- Black Hat, the world’s leading producer of information security events will expand community programmes and extend programming to local Singapore InfoSec communities at the four-day Black Hat Asia 2019, beginning March 26.

Held at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, the event will invite a wide range of professionals from all backgrounds and offers a platform to discuss issues impacting the community.

Among the programmes include the Hackers Appreciation & Social Hour, a networking and appreciation session by the Government Technology Agency & Cyber Security Agency for participants of the Government Bug Bounty Programme.

The community talks to be hosted on March 28 are developed to provide a focus on relevant issues currently impacting the InfoSec community by providing insights to help individuals, both new to InfoSec, as well as seasoned professionals.

The Black Hat Arsenal, which showcases the hottest developments from the open-source community will welcome several local researchers to demonstrate their tools onsite to promote Singapore InfoSec tools development.

For the fourth year running, the Black Hat Scholarship programme will award 75 complimentary Academic Briefing Passes to a limited number of student applicants with additional Briefing passes from IN Security Movement and Educator Scholarship programme.
