KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 (Bernama) – London-based payments platform provider, DOCOMO Digital has partnered with StarHub to enable carrier billing as a payment option for HUAWEI AppGallery users - a first in Singapore.
The project went live this month and it is the fourth in a series of app stores payment integration for StarHub, all powered by DOCOMO Digital, a statement said.
Under the partnership, StarHub’s mobile postpaid users can easily and securely pay for digital content from a broader range of app stores directly through their monthly mobile bill.
The app stores are HUAWEI AppGallery, Apple’s App Store and iTunes Store, Google Play Store as well as Microsoft and Xbox Store.
The company in the statement also said as compared to other payment modes, carrier billing gives customers greater control over spending with monthly transaction limits.
