KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 (Bernama) -- Under a Happy Dolls Project in Thailand participated by NCH Asia dolls were given to sick or lonely Thai children, which could be used as a friend. Each special doll gave a reassuring smile.
Happy Dolls Project is a company engaged in social activities since December 2009. The project aims to help children in rural places of Thailand, living in the underprivileged hill tribe communities in the North and in the migrant camps in the South.
NCH Asia in conjunction with its 100th anniversary participated in the ‘Happy Dolls Project’ as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, a statement said.
Around 20 of the company’s key executives including country managers and regional managers from 15 countries gathered in Bangkok, Thailand recently to make and donate dolls.
NCH Asia President, Dong Eun Kim said: “Our goal is to have all the NCH employees from 50 countries volunteer their time to contribute to their communities and complete more than 100 different CSR activities in total across globe by 2019”.
Established in 1919 in Dallas, Texas, NCH Corporation is a company that produces and sells maintenance products. NCH provides effective solutions specialised for maintenance of industrial facilities, including over 400 patented products.
