MALAYSIAN ARTISTS’ ARTWORKS AT TAMANSARI TOWNSHIP IN RAWANG

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 (Bernama) -- BRDB Developments Sdn Bhd (BRDB) will gradually ramp up community programmes by introducing interesting retail and commercial concepts in the coming years to diversify lifestyle experiences with the completion of Amaryllis -- the Phase 1A of Tamansari development in September 2018.

The developer recently unveiled monumental artworks by Malaysian artists at its Tamansari township in Rawang to cultivate healthy relationship between art, life and culture among the residents and visitors.

The art pieces by Ramlan Abdullah, Umibaizurah Mahir Ismail, Haffendi Anuar and Jun Ong are depictions and tell tales of Rawang’s past and will be permanent fixtures of Tamansari, a statement said.

“This is a long-term initiative that aims to enhance our residents’ way of living, foster a culture of appreciation for Rawang’s heritage through art and the natural setting that they live in,” said Chief Executive Officer of BRDB Kajendra Pathmanathan.

The company has discuss with local tertiary institution to bring the initiative to the next level by providing a platform to nurture emerging talents and offer exposure to the work industry.
