Jumio sales and annual recurring revenues increased along 2018

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- Jumio Corp. – a leading AI-powered trusted identity as a service provider -- sales grew by 130 per cent year-over-year in the first three quarters of 2018 and increase of 104 per cent annual recurring revenues (ARR) over the same period.
“This growth validates the importance of AI-powered trusted identity as a service and is further proof that Jumio’s innovations around liveness detection, machine learning and AI have enabled us to become the global leader in online identity verification,” said CEO of Jumio, Stephen Stuut.
The company also marks achievements in the third quarter of 2018 with the launch of Jumio AI Labs on September in Canada for the creation, experimentation and at-scale deployment of machine learning and deep learning technologies, a statement said.
It has created global partnership with Backbase, the omnichannel digital banking platform leader in July. Jumio’s online identity verification services enhanced Backbase’s Open Banking Marketplace to simplify account onboarding and dramatically reduce online fraud.  
Jumio was also recognised in the Overall ID Management Solution of the Year Award at the 2018 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards and Fastest-Growing Company of the Year category for Medium and Large companies by the Best at Biz Awards 2018 International.
The company has successfully hosted its first-ever Identity Matters Summit in London. The event highlights the latest trends and solutions in identity capture and verification, along with the best practices for building trusted relationships while deterring and preventing fraud.
