Milrem Robotics, European defence companies submit project for unmanned ground system

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 -- A consortium led by the Estonian Milrem Robotics and European defence companies has submitted their application to the European Commission’s European Defence Industrial Development Programme for a multi-mission unmanned ground system.

The system is capable of being teamed with manned and aerial vehicles which will consist of a robust and modular unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) equipped with an electronic warfare resistant command, control and communications solutions.

It also secures autonomous mobility software that enables the operator to simultaneously and safely control multiple land and air platforms, according to a statement.

The UGVs will be able to provide flexibility, modularity and versatility for different missions, increase protection, sustainability and performance of military operations and enhance ground forces situational awareness.

The project is titled integrated Modular Unmanned Ground System due to its origins at the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) framework which was officially adopted by 25 EU defence ministers on the updated list of projects for PESCO in November 2018.

A memorandum of understanding for the cooperation was signed by 14 parties, including Milrem Robotics, GT Cyber Technologies, Safran Electronics & Defense, NEXTER Systems, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, Diehl Defence and Bittium Wireless.

BitHarp new mining rigs bring change to global crypto market

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 -- BitHarp Group Limited, via its two newly-released cryptocurrency mining rigs are quickly turning out to be game changers in the global crypto market.

The mining rigs are Lyre Miner and Harp Miner.

Within their short lifespan, the two products have shown promise of revolutionising this thriving industry by offering superfast return on investment (ROI) for seasoned miners, as well as beginners, looking to try their hand at crypto mining.

The ability to generate quick ROI can be attributed to the product high hash rates. Hash rate may be referred to as the speed at which a given mining machine operates.

A higher hash rate increases the opportunity of a miner to find the next block and receive the reward.

“We strongly believe that the benefits of crypto mining should be available to all. This belief inspired us to create two pre-configured products that anyone can start, just by plugging them in,” said BitHarp engineering director, Daniel Cox.
