KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Bernama) -- Duco -- a data engineering technology company -- undertook global expansion with opening of three new offices in Singapore, Wroclaw and Edinburgh by September 2018.
"We see Singapore as a key point to fuel our expansion into Asia, due to its support for FinTech and innovation and the presence of both local and global clients," said chief executive officer of Duco, Christian Nentwich.
The company will target the Asia Pacific financial services market from its Singapore base, as well as supporting existing clients in Australia, Hong Kong, India and the Philippines.
"Wroclaw and Edinburgh are also important locations that will enable us to scale our technology organisation faster and more sustainably and with access to the top Computer Science talent that we seek," he added in a statement.
The move follows several years of rapid growth and adoption of Duco's self-service reconciliation model by global financial institutions. It also has a US$28 million or RM112.84 million funding round in January 2018. (1US$ = RM 4.03)
The Wroclaw office in Poland will serve as a technical operations base for cloud-based services and additional location for engineering talent to complement the London headquarters while its research and innovation team, Duco Labs is expanding its footprint in Edinburgh.
