The Malaysian Timber Council organizes a Resource and Business Mission to South America for the first time in search of new sources for raw material and business opportunities
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Timber Council is mounting a Resource and Business Mission to Chile and Brazil from 26 November - 6 December 2016. The mission is part of the Council's Raw Material Augmenting Supply programme which helps local timber-based manufacturers have a steady source of supply.
This is MTC's first Resource and Business Mission to South America. The delegation, comprising eight timber-based companies, will be led by MTC Deputy CEO Richard Yu. Members of the mission will be visiting timber plantation hubs in Concepcion and Los Angeles in the Bio Bio Region, Chile, as well as Curitiba in the State of Parana, Brazil.
