KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- Shiseido Company, Limited (Shiseido), a leading global beauty company has entered into a long-term partnership agreement with Tory Burch LLC (Tory Burch) to develop, market and distribute Tory Burch beauty products worldwide.
Effective Jan 1, 2020, Tory Burch’s beauty licence will be managed by Shiseido Group’s Americas region headquartered in New York City, according to a statement.
Through this partnership, Shiseido will provide Tory Burch with a global platform and dedicated resources to elevate the Tory Burch beauty business, and cultivate and capture opportunities as a multi-platform, global lifestyle beauty brand.
It will expand Shiseido’s global fragrance portfolio and create opportunities for collaboration across the Shiseido Group and its Centers of Excellence in Fragrance, Makeup, Skincare and Digital, as well as Technology Acceleration Hub.
Shiseido president and chief executive officer, Masahiko Uotani said: Shiseido is dedicated to creating value for all its partners and we are excited to share the benefits of Shiseido’s platform, R&D resources, technology portfolio and Centers of Excellence with the Tory Burch brand to help maximise its significant potential and opportunities for growth and development.”
