KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 (Bernama) -- The 20th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF 2018) started showcasing cutting-edge high-tech products and technologies of enterprises and institutions worldwide at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre on Nov 14.
The largest and most influential technology exhibition in China has attracted the world's top experts and scholars and gathered multinational corporations, Fortune 500 companies and unicorn enterprises to showcase the latest technical developments, a statement said.
Among the Chinese giants at the event include China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and China Electronics while multinational companies such as Suez, Foxconn, Ricoh, Baidu, Tsinghua Tongfang, TCL, Sogou and BOE also attended the fair.
The CHTF 2018 Innovation Forum has invited two Nobel laureates and 70 other industry experts and leading entrepreneurs and scholars to share their insights on the high-tech development.
On Nov 15, Professor Robert Grubbs, 2005 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, will share his new ideas and experiences on organic chemistry and new materials. On Nov 16, Professor Nakamura Shuji, 2014 Nobel Laureate in Physics, will elaborate on the future of optoelectronics.
Also attended the fair are senior government officials from Malaysia, Bahrain, Argentina, Estonia, Belgium, Switzerland, the Republic of Tatarstan, Hungary, Czech as well as senior managers from Microsoft, Amazon, SAP, Accenture, Philips, Bosch, Cisco and Huawei.
